REET Admit Card Instructions 2026
Candidates are required to download the PDF of the admit card and after that take print out of it as only hard copy of the admit card will be acceptable in the examination hall. It is suggested to candidates to carry a clear photocopy where barcode and photo of the applicant should be visible. Candidates have to carry the photo ID card approved by the government of India such as Aadhar card, driving licence etc. It is arrested to carry such documents which do not have similar details as per the admit card.
The department will conduct REET examination in a single day into 2 shifts where candidates have to reach the exam centre before 2 hours of starting the entry. So it will help them to get entry easily without any difficulties. Candidate will not allowed to carry additional items alongside admit card and government ID card such as smartphone, bluetooth device, necklace, keyring, earring and other jewellery etc. If you are coming in the exam centre with such prohibited items, then you should carry a bag where you can collect your all the items and submit them to the exam centre so after completing the exam you can collect your items accordingly.
REET Mains Exam 2026
The department is conducting REET examination for paper 1 and paper 2. Where individuals who want to become primary teacher have to qualify the paper one for class 1 to 5 and the paper 2 is required for candidates who want to become a TGT teacher from class 6th to class 8.
There will be a total 150 questions in the examination for each papers and candidates will get 150 minutes to solve these questions. The department will conduct an exam on the OMR sheet where candidates have to mark correct answer on the sheet and submit it to the exam centre before leaving the exam.
In the year of 2025, the government have revised marking scheme for the exam where candidates will see total 5 options for each question in question paper instead of 4 questions as per previous year pattern. Apart from this candidate full also required to attempt all the questions as if they left 10% questions without any marking in OMR sheet then they will automatically be disqualified in this examination.
The authority will award one mark for each correct answer in the examination and will also follow negative marking of 0.33 accordingly. So how much you mark correct answer will increase your chances to qualify the examination.
